Bio
Electronic music producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and keyboard player, Omerar Nanda is from Turkey. His journey started with having a keyboard at 4-year-old in a very musically-influenced home. He is inspired by artists like Faithless, Dr Alban, Erkin Koray, Yahel while he grows up.
In the mid-2000s, he was co-founder a live-act band, which called “Motif” were making techno trance music with the professional musicians which played qanun, darbouka, oud, ney and synthesizer by combining ethnic folk rhythms. After falling apart the band, he continued his story and his solo project “Omerar Nanda” was born in 2016. He released 5 albums and tens of singles and remixes. He has shared the stage with artists such as Black Coffee, Monolink, Bob Moses and Satori by performing at various venues and festivals in the Balkans, Central America and Middle East. When not performing, he spends all his time in the studio as a dedicated producer.
His music ranges through all tempos always conjunct in the purpose to shake your soul and excite your mind. In his tracks, he uses his own voice, sounds of ethnic world instruments with deeply emotional melodies that he creates. While you are listening to his music, you may find yourself in your own-imagined world with blending deep and emotional melodies, consisting of hypnotic beats and ethereal vocals which deliver a message to feed your soul.
